Stacey Bashara's expertise in project management, client service and branding was built over 15 years in advertising and marketing. She honed her communications and strategic skills working with Fortune 500 clients at a division of Ogilvy & Mather where she helped launch Ameritrade and led its direct response television efforts for nearly a decade. A veteran of collaborative efforts, Stacey twice won WPP’s Partnership Program Award, granted to the international communications conglomerate's best integrated marketing effort each year. At Articulated Man, Stacey’s strategic work netted clients dozens of web awards, including Webbys, Pollies, Daveys and a Gold Mouse. Stacey holds a BS from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism.
Brent Blackaby, Partner
Brent Blackaby began his work at the intersection of politics and technology in 2003 as a leader of the netroots-driven Draft Wes Clark movement. He went on to serve as Clark's online fundraising director during the 2004 presidential campaign. After the Clark campaign, Brent co-founded Blackrock Associates, where he has worked on dozens of high-profile U.S. Senate, ballot initiative, and other statewide campaigns. Campaigns & Elections Magazine selected Brent as one of their 2009 “Rising Stars” in politics. Prior to his time in politics, Brent worked in senior technology marketing roles, as a product marketing manager for E*TRADE, and as a management consultant with McKinsey & Company in San Francisco. Brent graduated from Harvard University with a B.A. in Economics.
Larry Huynh, Partner
Larry Huynh has worked in online strategy for 10 years. His major political campaign work began as a leader in the Draft Wes Clark movement in 2003, and he later served as an online fundraising and communications strategist during Clark's 2004 presidential campaign. Larry then went on to co-found Blackrock Associates in 2004. Larry was chosen one of Campaigns & Elections Magazine's 2007 “Rising Stars” in politics. Before joining Clark for President, Larry worked in high-tech, marketing, and as a consultant with Oliver Wyman. Larry graduated from Harvard University with a B.A. in Biochemical Sciences.
Josh Ross, Partner
Josh Ross has spent the last 15 years providing online strategy, product design and technology consulting to clients ranging from presidential campaigns to Fortune 500 companies. In 2004, Josh served on senior staff at the Kerry for President campaign, where he managed all online strategy and operations. Prior to his life in politics, Josh served as an executive at V2 Group, a high-end Silicon Valley product strategy and development firm that served leading companies including Intuit, Disney, Morgan Stanley, and Tivo. He was also a Vice President at USWeb, a global internet services company, following an acquisition of Networkers a company that he founded. Josh is a graduate of Stanford University with degrees in Political Science and Psychology.
Randy Stearns, Partner
Randy has worked as a web designer, information architect, project manager and innovator in the interactive space since 1996. As principal of Articulated Man for the last five years, he has lead interactive design, development and integration projects for Democratic campaigns, labor unions and progressive non-profit organizations. Prior to founding Articulated Man in 2004, Randy worked for America Online, Ignite Sports and Sportvision, where he designed websites, developed sponsorship platforms and led implementation projects for dozens of sports properties including the National Football League and numerous NFL, NHL and MLB teams; the PGA Tour; the LPGA; the WTA Tour; AOL.com Sports; and local sports cable networks MSG Network and YES. Randy is a graduate of Northwestern University with a degree in Fine Art.
