As a Trilogy Summer Intern, you will play a crucial role on our team as we manage and develop new media communications strategies for our clients and prepare new web initiatives for launch. Trilogy’s staff will also work with you to improve your skills and understanding of political communications and online organizing.
Program Details
Trilogy's Summer Internship Program offers 30-hour-per-week positions at our Berkeley, CA office. Ideal candidates will be college students or recent graduates who have an interest and familiarity in electoral politics and campaigning, in particular those interested in the rapidly growing field of new media.
Candidates must have strong quantitative and communications skills, a sense of curiosity, and a willingness to explore the web for new ideas. Having technical skills (Photoshop, HTML, CSS) is a plus, though is not required.
Responsibilities include:
- Brainstorming and executing client messaging strategy and online marketing plans;
- Managing and maintaining the online presence for clients, including social network profiles;
- Performing quality assurance testing on new websites and email blasts;
- Drafting copy for use on client websites and in blast emails;
- Developing testing plans, analyzing results, and reporting back to clients;
- Exploring and implementing new web technologies;
- Building basic web graphics and web pages.
Program participants will receive a bimonthly stipend.
