We want someone with a vision for how to communicate bold ideas in the online space.

To accomplish that, our Writer needs to:

  • Be able to turn around clean copy quickly

  • Draft concise, engaging content for email campaigns, social media, advertising, and client memos

  • Be able to write and return all copy requests on deadline -- with minimal errors

  • Be a strategic thinker with a keen awareness of the voice and specific political parameters of individual clients, along with the larger political climate

  • Master a diverse set of unique voices for your clients

  • Show facility for platform-specific writing -- from social media to email

  • Have excellent command of grammar and usage; be a strong copyeditor

  • Assist in promoting the Trilogy brand and record for thought leadership by writing copy for our social channel

REQUIRED SKILLS

You'll be expected to understand the basics of direct response marketing copywriting and to deliver superior results.

Familiarity with the following is helpful -- but having demonstrated skill in writing is absolutely essential.

  • Progressive campaign, non-profit, journalistic or agency experience
