Washington, D.C.

At Trilogy Interactive, we inspire movements. We tell stories that turn heads. We win progress when it matters the most. And now, we want you to join us! We are a team of dynamic, diverse, and passionate progressives who work with some of the biggest names in Democratic politics.

We are looking for a proven strategic thinker to manage a diverse range of projects from our Washington, D.C. office. If you are passionate about email marketing and digital media strategy and want to make a positive impact on your community and your country, please apply today.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Digital Strategist, you will manage client teams to deliver industry-leading results for a host of political, advocacy, union, and non-profit clients. Drawing on your experience with progressive politics, digital strategy, and project management, you will help develop innovative digital advocacy, fundraising, and advertising campaigns that move our clients toward their goals.

To accomplish that, our Digital Strategists need to:

  • Push programs forward by interfacing directly with clients and an internal team of digital and communications specialists.
  • Oversee content and creative development (including email, advertising, social media, and multimedia content), production, reporting, and optimization of clients' campaign plans.
  • Utilize Trilogy’s internal operational systems to monitor project budgets, advertising spends, and project performance.
  • Coordinate internal approvals for all client deliverables and manage the client approval process.
  • Advise and collaborate with Trilogy's Creative, Paid Media, and Social Media teams on project components including ad buys, creative development, and websites.
  • With our Media team, research, test, and implement new digital marketing strategies and tactics.

REQUIRED SKILLS

People with all types of experiences, backgrounds, and interests can excel at this position, but here are traits that most successful Digital Strategists will bring to the table:

  • You are organized: You are comfortable guiding multiple people through dozens of tasks and assignments at once without ever missing a beat and enjoy developing systems to ensure that nothing falls through the cracks.
  • You are curious: You not only come up with creative new strategic ideas, you seek out knowledge on emerging trends in the space and bring them to your projects. You aren't just interested in checking boxes; rather, you continually push your team to test out new strategies that improve results.
  • You've got a political gut: Clients trust you because they know you get the politics, the context, the positions, and the issues that drive them. You can think outside yourself and your experiences to connect with the population with whom you are communicating.
  • You have experience: You are familiar with digital marketing best practices and have 1-3 years of experience in email marketing, progressive politics, issue advocacy, organizing, or labor.

PREFERRED SKILLS

While direct technical execution is not a required function of this role, we find familiarity with the following techniques and technologies to be helpful, as it allows you to better communicate internally and understand the capabilities of your team.
